Lost and found items are kept in the sacristy. You may stop by if you have lost something. For the next two weekends, March 22, 23,29, 30, the items will be on a table in the W.25 St. vestibule of the church where you can claim them. At the end of March, they will be given away. A benefactor who values St. Malachi and its mission to the poor donated the total funds to paint the remaining lower worship area of the Church. As requested by the donor, the painting will begin this Monday, Jan. 30th, and should be completed by March 1st. Weekday and weekend Masses will be celebrated in Church. We are truly blessed and grateful for this donation. May God bless them profusely for their generosity to St. Malachi Parish.
Beginning June 6th, 2022, the second phase of painting the inside of the Church will begin. It is estimated that the project will last three weeks. Weekend Masses will continue to be celebrated in the Church. However, due to the painting, there will be NO Noon Masses celebrated in the Church on June 7th and June 10th.
We invite you to attend the 11:00 AM Mass at St. Wendelin’s on Monday, Tuesday and Friday or St. John’s Cathedral for Noon Mass each weekday. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The painting of the sanctuary was completed on Thursday, July 22. The painters removed their tarps and equipment on Friday. Because the area around the sanctuary and the sacristies needs to be cleaned and the statues returned to their shrines, this weekend’s Masses will be celebrated in the Lower Hall. Masses will resume in the Church on Tuesday, July 27. We thank you for your understanding and patience over these last several weeks.
Unfortunately, the painting of the sanctuary is taking much longer than anticipated. As a result, the church building will remain closed until the weekend July 25 and 26. Weekend of July 17/18: The 4:00PM Vigil and the 10:00AM liturgies will be celebrated in the Lower Hall. While the hall is air-conditioned, the liturgical ambiance will be quite simple. Weekday Mass Temporarily Re-Located: Saint Patrick Parish will temporarily be home to the 12Noon Masses this Tuesday, July 20; and Friday, July 23. We anticipate that the painting of the church will be completed by the end of the week and we will celebrate Mass in the Church next weekend. All requested Mass intentions will be honored for these days. In the event of a funeral, families are welcome at St. Patrick during this period. The north entrance of the church remains closed due to the replacement of the steps. The church building will remain closed this week as the repair and painting of the damaged walls in the sanctuary continues. On Monday, June 28, 2021 painters will begin repairing and painting the sacristy of the Church. The project will take approximately two weeks. As a result, the noon Masses on June 29, July 2, July 6 and July 9 will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s (Friday confessions will be available at St. Pat’s). The weekend Masses on July 3 & July 4 will be celebrated in the parish hall.
