Saturday, February 7 through Sunday, February 8, 2015 is the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life. We remember and give thanks for the witness of so many women and men who have dedicated their lives completely to God and to the service of
God’s people as vowed religious or consecrated virgins.
We especially recognize the Ursuline Sisters of St. Malachi and (Sr.) Maggie Walsh-Conrad, who is a consecrated virgin. Let us also remember those who are discerning a call to this life, especially Jack McLinden, who is a novice in the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).
The Liturgy Commission meets on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the rectory. The main focus will be preparing for Lent and a discussion of Chapter 2 of Real World, Real Worship. All are welcome.

On Sunday, January 25, 2015 our Youth Group will have a social gathering! We be going as a group to the Toboggan Chutes at The Chalet in Strongsville.
The tentative plan will be to meet at the Speier’s house (15809 Edgecliff, Cleveland) at 12:00 PM (we can meet in driveway if they are at Mass) with another car leaving from Malachi’s after 11:30 AM mass (since our mass is the latest) and everyone meeting at the Chalet hopefully by 1:00 PM. The chutes are open at noon and lines can be long so if some of us can get there earlier, that means more time for fun. We will probably wrap up around 4:00 PM. The cost per student is $12.00.
Due to Sunday Feb. 1, 2015 being Superbowl Sunday, we will be POSTPONING Faith Formation to the following week, Sunday, February 8, 2015.
After that, we will hopefully have a service activity on Sunday, February 15, 2015 and Faith Formation again on Sunday February 22, 2015.
Please stay tuned for more details and information about a potential new location for Faith Formation one time per month.
For our next social gathering we will invite the Jr. High students as well but since this one is coming together so last minute, we need to limit it to make sure we have enough drivers.
Also we are looking to confirm a location for the retreat for March 27-29, 2015.
