Help Needed for Christmas Decorating, 2015
Christmas at St. Malachi Parish is beautiful because many people help! Please let Kay Vine know if/when you can help: (216) 653-1993 or kvine@att.net.
We will be decorating the church in stages on the following days:
1) Friday, December 18, 2015 or Saturday morning, December 19,2015 erect the large artificial tree in the sanctuary
2) Sunday morning, December 20, 2015 put live trees in stands
3) Sunday, December 20, 2015 after 11:30 Mass install and place lights on live trees, place banner on choir loft ledge, wreaths on pillars, large wreath outdoors in front of church, place figures in creche
4) Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after Noon Mass water and place poinsettias around altars and other places in church
5) Wednesday, December 23, 2015 after Noon Mass complete work on Advent wreath (add lilies around white candle, add poinsettia plants, change altar cloths, lectern (ambo) frontal, credence and gift table cloths for Christmas Masses
Fair Trade Expo December 13, 2015
4th Annual Fair Trade Boutique at St. Malachi’s -Shop with a conscience! Come to the St. Malachi Fair Trade Boutique for your holiday shopping Sunday December 13, 2015 in the School Hall after the 9:00 and 11:30 masses. Two Fair Trade non profits will be in the School Hall during Coffee Hour offering unique items for sale.
Items include textiles, jewelry, Equal Exchange coffee, tea and chocolates, nativity scenes, ornaments and much more. Check off your gift list and create positive change in the world, all at the same time. Fair trade enables artisans and farmers around the world to earn a fair wage and provides an opportunity for a better quality of life.
The two organizations are Inter religious Task Force ( IRTF) based out of St. Patrick’s and the Amani Children’s Foundation with products from Kenya coordinated by St. Malachi member Mary McNamara.

Women’s Reflection and Prayer December 12, 2015 10:00AM
All women are invited to a time of being with each other and supporting each other in reflection and prayer… and coffee! We are gathering on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Centering Space, 14812 Lake Ave., Lakewood. Please join us and bring a friend!
Women of St. Malachi Parish you are invited to a retreat starting Friday evening June 3 through Sunday June 5, 2016 at Our Lady of the Pines in Freemont, OH. Stay for one night or two, it is up to you. We are hoping to deepen our relationship with God and build women’s community through group reflection and some quiet time. Watch the bulletin for more details; registrations will be at the doors of the church and on our website in soon.
Fruit Baskets 12/13/2015
St. Malachi parishioners will take holiday fruit baskets to our neighbors at Lakeview High Rise on Sunday, December 13, 2015. This is a wonderful opportunity for families, couples, individuals to share a special treat with our neighbors.

Reflections on the Meeting of Bishops , 12/3/2015
On Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:30 AM the First Friday Club of Cleveland will host Bishop Richard Lennon.
Bishop Lennon will speak on Reflections of the November Meeting of Bishops.
The Cleveland City Club is located at 850 Euclid Ave., 2nd floor.
Discount parking is available at Euclid-Prospect Gateway Garage for $3, with First Friday Club stamp.
