The parish’s biggest fundraiser, the Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Malachi Church Run and WALK will be held on September 18, 2021 with Honorary Chair, Channel 8’s Kenny Crumpton. The event will feature Mass, 2 and 5 mile run/walk, a Post Race Hooley, and fantastic September temperatures! Although the Run is a fundraiser, it is SO much more! We minister to the needs of the inner city youth by letting hundreds of kids run for free. We are hoping to have a free wheel chair division this year. You never know the ways that God will call you to serve! The Run is a great community builder for the Parish! There are so many ways in which you can be involved that we are striving for 100% participation. You can come to Mass, volunteer, walk 2 miles, cheer on the runners, donate, go to the Hooley, be a sponsor, provide a sponsorship lead to the committee, have your picture taken with Kenny Crumpton and come see the Irish dancers and the bag pipers. There will be no bad weather excuses not to get out and to support those most in need. We believe that the event will be the largest celebration of Irish culture in Cleveland in 2021, so don’t miss out on the fun!
