All are welcome to an online Bible Study on Mary, led by acclaimed scripture scholar Dr. Brant Pitre of the Augustine Institute, and based on his book, Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary.
Have you ever questioned Catholic teaching on Mary? Have you asked questions, like, why does the Church teach that Mary was a lifetime virgin? Why do we call Mary Queen of Heaven and Earth? Why do Catholics reverence Mary? What is the biblical justification for any of this? If so, this is the series for you! You will be amazed and inspired.
Here is the format:
- Each week, you view a 35 minute video on the Formed platform. You will see the presentation by Dr. Brant Pitre.
- Each Wednesday, from 6:30PM to 8:00PM, join St. Malachi and St. Patrick parishioners on a Google Meet on-line discussion meeting.
