We will be decorating the church in stages on the following days:
1) Friday, December 18, 2015 or Saturday morning, December 19,2015 erect the large artificial tree in the sanctuary
2) Sunday morning, December 20, 2015 put live trees in stands
3) Sunday, December 20, 2015 after 11:30 Mass install and place lights on live trees, place banner on choir loft ledge, wreaths on pillars, large wreath outdoors in front of church, place figures in creche
4) Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after Noon Mass water and place poinsettias around altars and other places in church
5) Wednesday, December 23, 2015 after Noon Mass complete work on Advent wreath (add lilies around white candle, add poinsettia plants, change altar cloths, lectern (ambo) frontal, credence and gift table cloths for Christmas Masses
St. Malachi parishioners will take holiday fruit baskets to our neighbors at Lakeview High Rise on Sunday, December 13, 2015. This is a wonderful opportunity for families, couples, individuals to share a special treat with our neighbors.

Bishop Lennon will speak on Reflections of the November Meeting of Bishops.

This Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Richard Clark, founding president of Saint Martin de Porres High School, is our Everyday Prophet. We will start in the hall at 12:30 PM, following Noon Mass.
Everyday Prophets is a lunchtime program to celebrate the work and dedication of those in our community who serve others. Speakers share stories of their life journey. Bring your lunch – beverage and dessert will be provided. Enjoy the stories, fellowship and inspiration shared.
** Update ** The Second Saturday Supper will be at the Center for Pastoral Leadership located at 28700 Euclid Ave. in Wickliffe at 6:00PM on Saturday, November 14, 2015. We will be attending the “Novemberfest,” the Annual Italian Dinner to support the Borromeo Seminarians.
Anyone who is interested in carpooling, please meet at 5:30PM in the St. Malachi Parking lot.

All who have volunteered in any capacity at St. Malachi Parish are invited to a volunteer appreciation luncheon at Massimo Da Milano, 1400 W. 25th St., at 11:30AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015.
The many ministries at St. Malachi Parish are possible only because of the generous gifts of time and talent from literally hundreds of individuals.
At this luncheon, Fr. Neil Walters, in residence at St. Malachi, will speak about his experiences in ministry. In addition, entertainment will be provided by the St. Malachi Parish choir/musicians.
