October is the month of the Holy Rosary. On October 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM, Catholic Cemeteries Association invites families to participate in a half-mile walking Rosary in honor of departed loved ones. We walk, we pray, we sing, and we remember. For those who cannot walk, or in case of rain, the Rosary will be prayed in the mausoleum or in the cemetery office. At the end of the Rosary, there is a brief candle lighting ceremony in remembrance of our dearly departed. We are seeking Walk Participants and Rosary Leaders. One or two leaders to walk and one to lead seated in the mausoleum or office for participants who are not able to walk. This is a great communal prayer opportunity for families and for Rosary Prayer organizations in your parish. Walk to Remember locations: All Souls Cemetery, Chardon;
Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland; Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron; Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park; Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City; St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon; All Saints Cemetery, Northfield. If
you are able to lead the Rosary, please contact Rhonda Abrams at rabrams@clecem.org or call 216-930-4866 and more details will be provided to the leader(s).

Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Cleveland are changing the lives of children and their families. Thanks to the generosity of people like you who know the value of a Catholic education, more than 3,500 students received need-based tuition assistance last year. When you give to the Faith & Values Appeal to support tuition assistance for a Catholic school student, you are giving a gift that will live on in the lives of those served in our schools. Please pray that the generosity of our parishioners will continue to support the formation of our youth in Catholic schools where faith makes a difference. To donate online, go to www.CatholicCommunity.org/education or call Karen Joyce at 800-869-6525 x1910.
