This year, we support Christians in the Holy Land, the “living stones” whose population has fallen to less than 2% in the place where Christianity began. Today, only one Catholic school, Holy Family School, remains in Gaza. The Cleveland Holy Land Consortium supports this school. Our Bishop Nelson has encouraged a local effort to stand with the Christians of Gaza at Holy Family School and Parish. Help support families whose communities are largely cut off from the rest of the world. The need is urgent! Offering envelopes are available at the doors of the church for you to use to turn your personal Lenten sacrifices into contributions which will help Catholic children in Gaza make their way to a brighter day.
