Effective June 1. 2020, Fr. Justin Freeman, O de M, has been appointed to serve as Priest Chaplain of MetroHealth Medical Center with residence at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Because the COVID-19 pandemic has forced MetroHealth and other facilities to strictly adhere to policies impacting the work of parish priests, Father is a true blessing to our area. He will make every effort to visit any Catholic who is admitted to Metro as well as assist parishes for Anointing of the Sick and other vital pastoral services. We thank Father, his superiors, and the Diocese of Cleveland for assigning Father to this ministry in our area. Please keep Father Justin and all of our hospital chaplains in your prayers during this challenging time of providing pastoral care for the sick.
