CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COLLECTION NEXT SUNDAY
Although many Americans enjoy prosperity, poverty in America is rising. Nearly 36 million Americans, and one in six children live in poverty. One in eight Americans struggle to find affordable housing, split prescription medicine in half, or work more than one job to make ends meet. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development helps people change the conditions that keep them living in poverty. There will be a second collection at all Masses next weekend.

CLUSTER PLAN UPDATE
The Cluster Plan proposed by St. Malachi Parish, the Community of St. Malachi, St. Patrick and St. Wendelin has been submitted to Bishop Lennon on Friday. It will now be reviewed, along with the other Cluster Plans submitted by the other clusters in Cleveland, by the Vibrant Parish Life diocesan committee, the Bishop's staff, the Presbyteral (Priest's) Council (with regard to merging and closing parishes) and Bishop Lennon. It is expected that Bishop Lennon will respond sometime next March, accepting or modifying the proposed plan. It is important during these next months to recognize that the Cluster Plan is a proposal, neither “a done deal” nor “likely to be changed.” Because the plan is not yet approved, it is not appropriate to start implementing the plan. The ministry of St. Malachi -- and the other parishes -- continues and continues to need your participation and support! Let us continue to be a vibrant parish at St. Malachi!

the Lord is my shepherd

'Well done, my good and faithful servant.... Come, share your master's joy.'"The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five. He said, 'Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.' His master said to him, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master's joy.'" - Mt. 25:20-21
