Tickets are available for the annual St. Malachi Reverse Raffle on Friday, October 3 at Brennan's Party Center. Tickets are $100 for dinner for two & a chance for the main board prize of $3,000. RCIA -- THE JOURNEY BEGINS THIS WEEK!
Do you know someone who is not Catholic but has expressed interest in the faith? Do you know someone who was baptized Catholic but never raised in the church? Do you know someone who is searching spiritually, but has no church home? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith for adults interested in the Catholic faith. PRAYING
WITH ST. IGNATIUS
Praying with St. Ignatius, a Parish Retreat of the Jesuit Retreat House
starts Sunday, September 28 at St. Malachi hall from 7:00-8:30 pm. The Praying with St. Ignatius retreat
is adapted from The Spiritual Exercises to foster a heartfelt knowledge of
Jesus. For 8 Sundays, trained spiritual directors from the Jesuit Retreat House will guide you through different methods of prayer, meditation, journaling, and small group sharing. Participants are asked to commit a ½ hour a day for private prayer. Is God calling you to a closer relationship? The cost is $50; registration deadline is Tuesday September 23. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our diocese will host the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry, Formed by Living
Water, December 4-7 at the Cleveland Convention Center. The Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office is
seeking 200 volunteers to help conference participants experience hospitality - Cleveland style! Tasks include: welcoming participants at the airport & hotels; guiding attendees at the conference; ushering; counting collections after Masses; selling program wear and working the information booth. Volunteers receive one day free admission to the conference on the day they help out.
