CLUSTER UPDATE AND SCENARIOS
Inserted in today's bulletin is the current update for our Cluster: St. Malachi Parish, Community of St. Malachi, St. Patrick, St. Wendelin. With it are the 4 scenarios for merging parishes that our cluster has been considering, along with information about what parish merging means, other scenarios that were considered but ultimately put aside by our Cluster Planning Team and a feedback form for the 4 scenarios. It is VERY IMPORTANT for EVERY MEMBER of St. Malachi Parish to prayerfully and carefully read and consider this information.
THERE WILL BE A PARISH MEETING A WEEK FROM TUESDAY -- JULY 29 -- FROM 7-9 PM TO DISCUSS & OFFER FEEDBACK ON THESE FOUR SCENARIOS.
The feedback from each parish will be used by our Cluster Planning Team to determine which scenario we will be proposing to Bishop Lennon for consolidating from our current 4 parishes to “no more than 2 parishes.”

WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER
Please join the Spiritual Development Committee for Wednesday evening prayer. This Wednesday's prayer is Praying with the Labyrinth, meeting in the Church at 6 pm. Weather permitting we will walk the Labyrinth. Our Wednesday evening prayer is for our cluster planning.

ST. MALACHI CONCERT -- SAVE THE DATE

PRAYING WITH ST. IGNATIUS
Praying with St. Ignatius, a Jesuit Retreat House Parish Retreat returns to St. Malachi's this fall. It starts Sunday, September 28 in St. Malachi hall, from 7-8:30 pm. Praying with St. Ignatius is a retreat adapted from the Spiritual Exercises to foster a heartfelt knowledge of Jesus. For 8 Sundays, trained spiritual directors from the Jesuit Retreat House will guide you through different methods of prayer, meditation, journaling and small group sharing. You will be asked to commit a ½ hour a day for private prayer. Is God calling you to a closer relationship? Registration deadline is Tuesday September 23; cost is $50. Registration flyers are at the doors of the Church. St. Malachi's Spiritual Development Committee sponsors this retreat. Please contact Jan Leitch or Jackie Bluett for more information. 

HOME FORECLOSURE PREVENTION RESOURCES 
In 2007, there were approximately 80,000 filed foreclosures in Ohio; Ohio ranks 4th in the nation for filed home foreclosures. The Ohio Dept. of Commerce has developed an outstanding website to assist Ohioans facing foreclosure on their homes. Among other things, the “Save the Dream” web site provides “county by county” information regarding HUD approved housing counseling agencies, legal services, community organizations working on foreclosure as well as, other services. FREE FAMILY FESTIVAL
The Catholic Family Festival <The Fest> will be held Sunday, August 3 from 12 Noon to 10 PM at the Center for Pastoral Leadership (Borromeo Seminary) at 28700 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe (off I-90 at the Euclid Ave. exit. )Enjoy live music by Christian recording artist Jeremy Camp & Matt Maher, delicious food, & activities for all ages culminating with an outdoor Mass & fireworks.
